WHAT CAREER IS GOOD FOR ME?
The world is changing and you can reap the benefits of these changes. Success is not measured just in going to a four year college/university because there are many careers which require a year of technical training and certifications.
To choose a career pathway you want to spend 30-35 years of your life for, ask yourself some questions.
- What interests me now--welding, cosmetology, nursing, mechanics, owning a business?
- What hobbies/sports/activities do I like now which can be a potential careers?
- What type of work do I like--hands on, computer-based, community service, people oriented, etc.?
Education and training are still required for a career pathway, but may not require a full 3-4 years as others do. It may take time, but this is a longterm goal, so it's worth it!
