Career

WHAT CAREER IS GOOD FOR ME?

The world is changing and you can reap the benefits of these changes. Success is not measured just in going to a four year college/university because there are many careers which require a year of technical training and certifications.

To choose a career pathway you want to spend 30-35 years of your life for, ask yourself some questions.

  1. What interests me now--welding, cosmetology, nursing, mechanics, owning a business?
  2. What hobbies/sports/activities do I like now which can be a potential careers?
  3. What type of work do I like--hands on, computer-based, community service, people oriented, etc.?

Education and training are still required for a career pathway, but may not require a full 3-4 years as others do. To find out more information about potential careers and schools offering training and certifications, check out the tabs to the right and research options. It may take time, but this is a longterm goal, so it's worth it!
