 Mrs. Fields has been in education for 14 years.  Before she was a counselor, she worked as a science teacher and coach with Midlothian ISD and Mansfield ISD. She earned her B.A. in journalism from Baylor University and her M.Ed. in school counseling from TAMU-Commerce. She is married to Billy, and has two daughters- Kinsley (6) and Peyton (3), and a dog named Sawyer.  In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, and traveling with her family. 

Her favorite thing about being an educator is being influential in the lives of students. Mrs. Fields decided to become a counselor because she enjoys guiding students to make positive choices and plan their futures. 

Mrs. Fields is also the AP coordinator for MHS. 

Amy Neal

Mrs. Neal has been in education for 12 years. Before she was a counselor she was a high school art teacher and coach at Timberview High School in Mansfield ISD. She earned a B.F.A at University of North Texas and a M.Ed. in School Counseling from Lamar University. She is married to Tommy, has a 7 year old son, Dylan, and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Mrs. Neal is also the SAT/ACT Coordinator for MHS.

Mrs. Tomlinson has been in education for 15+ years, working as a business educator, before serving as the K-12 counselor for Mildred ISD, then joining the MHS team in 2010. She is a UTA & UNT graduate, has been married for 25+ years to Brian, and has three boys -Zach, Aaron, and Chris. Mrs. Tomlinson is also the Midlothian Collegiate Scholar Academy counselor at MHS.

 LaVerne Ferrell

Mrs. Ferrell has been in education for 15 plus years. Prior to joining the Midlothian High School counseling team, she was the Special Education department lead at Timberview High School   in Mansfield. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and Amberton University. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Arthur, and they have two amazing adult children, Khari and Koya. Mrs. Ferrell feels that all students deserve the opportunity to reach their potential and feels very fortunate to be a part of helping students as they pursue their goals in high school and beyond. In her spare time, Mrs. Ferrell loves working in her church and teaching people how to become healthier using natural remedies. 

Ashley Bergeron

Mrs. Bergeron has been in education for over 10 years. Mrs. Bergeron, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, loves Longhorn football and baseball. She is married to Jeff and they have a new baby girl. Mrs. Bergeron is the campus lead counselor.

Mrs. Oliver has been in education for 8 years, working in Special  Education at Frank Seale Middle School for 2 years prior to coming  to Midlothian High School. She is originally from Atlanta, Georgia  and moved to Midlothian 7 years ago after living in Owasso, OK for 8 years. She lives here with her husband, Steve, and her children Will (Junior at OSU) and Sydney (Sophomore at Navarro) and Georgia (boxer/mix). Becky loves her church, the beach and laughing with friends!

 Mrs. Holt has been in education for 30 years, having worked at Midlothian ISD for all her time, as an elementary aide, bus driver, PE aide, computer lab pioneer, and she has been at  MHS for 16 years in her role as jack-of-all-trades for the counseling office. Mrs. Holt has been married for 40 years to her husband Tim, an archery expert, and they have two children, Candice and Jessica, with four grandchildren between them that they spoil named Holton, Abby, Hattie, and Brody. They have also taken numerous trips on motorcycles, including a visit to Sturgis.

Mrs. Holt has a multitude of duties for the Counseling Center, but she is also the driving force behind Panther graduation ceremonies each year.
